Project 971 multipurpose nuclear submarine "Akula"




Designed to deliver blows on group of ships and coastal installations. The submarine design features a double-hulled configuration with the high aft fin fitted with a towed array dispenser. The hull has seven compartments. This the most low noise domestically-built nuclear submarine.
